The InterContinental Hotels Group properties in Dubai Festival City consist of four hotel brands.

A little taste of your day-to-day Work in close cooperation with all departments including kitchen, procurement, human resources, laundry, maintenance, housekeeping to ensure a smooth-running operation.
Conduct regular training sessions with the team in line with the departmental SOP's and complete accurate reporting and training plans.
Monitor duty schedules for the respective team.
Continuously maintain high levels of cleanliness throughout the outlet and ensure the proper appearance and grooming of assigned colleagues.
Work towards the timely set up of the restaurant, according to the completion of all mise-en-place and checklists in line with the opening hours and complete any required reports to a high standard.
Handle the welcome of arriving guests and their seating through the host/hostess and take over, if he/she is not available.
Achieve total guest satisfaction and organizational profitability through effective utilization of all resources.
Maintain a professional and friendly relationship with guests and colleagues to ensure their well-being.
Prepare restaurant and bar requisitions.
Familiar with the restaurant menu, promotional activities and other relevant issues concerning the restaurant and the hotel.
Handle Guest complaints directly or refer them to the Restaurant General Manager.
Contribute to meeting and maximizing the revenue for the respective restaurant by actively engaging with guests and potential leads and bookings.
Operate in a safe and environmentally friendly way to protect guests' and colleagues' health and safety, policies and procedures, as well as protect and conserve the environment.
Verify accurate reporting and cash handling by hostesses and captains.
Responsible for cash handling and accurate recording of financial reports both opening and closing.
